Three men, nine wives, salacious affairs, and astounding hypocrisy. |
Newt Gingrich presented his first wife with divorce papers while she was in the hospital being treated for uterine cancer.
He divorced his second wife when she was diagnosed with MS while he was having an affair with future wife number three and publicly condemning Bill Clinton for his inability to keep his pants zipped.
He recently accused Megyn Kelly of being "fascinated with sex" in an attempt to deflect reporting on women accusing Trump of sexual abuse and assault.
Rudy Giuliani, while having an affair, obtained a civil divorce from his first wife and a Roman Catholic annulment after claiming he had just discovered he had married his second cousin.
He began a very public affair during his second marriage, misusing public funds and announcing the end of his marriage to the press, blindsiding his wife and children. Notoriously vindictive, he was eventually barred by a judge from bringing his mistress to visit at the mayor’s mansion where his wife and children were living.
She became his third wife, presumably in a venue other than that offered by the Catholic Church.
When defending Trump's sexual behavior by attacking Hillary's marriage, Rudy was asked if it was hypocritical for him to criticize infidelity. Rudy responded, "I'm a Roman Catholic, and I confess those things to my priest."
Donald Trump, in May 2017, signed the Executive Order on Promoting Free Speech and Religious Liberty.
"The order directs the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) to exercise "maximum enforcement discretion" over the Johnson Amendment, which prevents churches and other tax-exempt religious organizations from endorsing or opposing political candidates."
"The order also provides 'regulatory relief' for organizations that object on religious grounds to a provision in Obamacare that mandates employers provide certain health services, including coverage for contraception."
The order was much less than had been promised to the ultra right which evidently created sorrow, dissapointment, AND a lawsuit from the ACLU.
