Trumpism and Poop Throwing Monkey

"It is hard to get mad at Donald Trump for saying stupid things, in the same way you don't get mad at a monkey when he throws poop at you at the zoo. . . . What does get me angry is the ridiculous, disingenuous defending of the poop-throwing monkey." - Jon Stewart, July 2015

Along with many new and exciting things the Trumpian era has brought us, there is a political behavior termed, anti-anti-Trumpism meaning:

the loathing of those who loathe Trump.

"As the right doubles down on anti-anti-Trumpism, it will find itself goaded into defending and rationalizing ever more outrageous conduct just as long as it annoys CNN and the left." - Charles J Sykes, The New York Times

I have long since stopped believing in the benevolence, morality, and basic level of good-personhood of 97% of politicians . . .

including the would-be-coronated, matriarch of the Clinton dynasty.

Trump: No I did. . . I fired him because of Russia. I thought, 'He’s investigating Russia. I don’t like that. I should fire him.'

Holt: But that’s obstruction of justice.
Trump: Uh Huh

Holt: No I didn’t?
Nothing matters?
Absolutely nothing matters anymore?

*Do I need to mention this a Saturday Night Live Parody and not really Lester Holt and Donald Trump?
OK good.

"When the Republicans picked Donald Trump as a nominee, they handcuffed themselves to a dead hooker." - Bill Maher

But really?

Insert any number of Trumpian tweets along with the hypocritical justification by a career politicians of the professed moral superiority and rugged individualism ilk.

"I told them, you know, it’s really funny to me to see the splodey heads keep sploding over this movement." - Sarah Palin July 1st, 2016 (Yes, she really said it.)

Consider my head spolodeyed.
