Animal Shelter Photo Booth

The Humane Society of Utah has come up with a BRILLIANT idea.

They decided that the sad, pitiful photos of puppies behind bars wasn't a great way to advertise the dogs in the shelter.

Guinnevere Shuster is the mastermind photographer behind the awesome photo booth type of images.

Per staff report, it is a way to show the dogs as quirky and funny and a good match for happy homes.

One of the comments on their Facebook page: The genius who decided to take pictures of doggies and kitties so they could get a home was a . . . genius.

Yep!! I have to agree.

One of the latests posts:

I am a neutered male, white and brown Pit Bull Terrier mix. The shelter staff think I am about 1 year and 5 months old.

"I'm a big lover who loves to snuggle! I love people & other dogs. I'm friendly, loud, energetic, social & playful. My history with kids & cats is unknown. I've successfully lived with another large dog who I was friendly with."

The animals get hundreds of likes on Facebook a few hours after posting.

The shelter gets several requests for more information by the end of the day. All of the dogs in the original photo booth were adopted within a few days.

We welcome every animal in need that we can legally accept. Because we turn no animals away, we are defined as an "Open-Admissions" shelter.https://www.facebook.com/HumaneSocietyOfUtah?fref=ts
