Food Storage

When my kids were little, we had a playroom downstairs with an old sofa. The dog would hide treats between the cushions so I would make a fairly regular couch check for cuisine not appropriate for the pre-kindergarten crowd.

When we packed up to move, I discovered a few items that had been missed. An entire package of petrified baloney and a carton of ice-cream adhered to the linoleum floor had joined the pieces of dog biscuits under the couch. I’m not sure if canine or kid made it from fridge to basement but less perishable items may have been preferable.
