Christmas Bits and Pieces - Part 3

When I lived in Utah, I usually drove something big with four wheel drive. (Not an earth-friendly decision but definitely a don't-end-up-in-a-snow-covered-ditch after midnight and miles away from my home.) Snow and I have a personal dislike for each other.

Snow targets any location I need to go to and any route I will use to get there. It spends 6 months of the year developing a game plan to interfere with my ability to get things done. In retaliation, I take great joy in driving over the snowbanks that accumulate on either side of the road.

I’m just waiting to see how snow intends to hinder my existence in Phoenix.

Snow and adolescence are the only problems that disappear if you ignore them long enough.  Earl Wilson

I used to be Snow White, but I drifted. Mae West

A lot of people like snow. I find it to be an unnecessary freezing of water. Carl Reiner

Getting an inch of snow is like winning 10 cents in the lottery.  Bill Watterson

I drive a lot in the summertime, but after that, I don’t drive if there’s snow predicted for anywhere in 500 miles. RL Stine

“It’s snowing still,” said Eeyore gloomily.
“So it is.”
“And freezing.”
“Is it?”
“Yes,” said Eeyore.  “However,” he said, brightening up a little, “we haven’t had an earthquake lately.”
AA Milne
