Moving, an Inner Dialogue

You know when you start packing? When everything is wrapped, folded, organized and labeled? Well that was weeks ago. I’m at the point of throwing everything in a box which could be marked: mismatched Tupperware, twelve screws, a single shoe and a container of who knows what (possibly a loaf of bread.)

So my inner dialogue goes like this, “Please pack one more box.” “No.” “One more little box?” “No.” “I’ll buy you an ice cream cone.” “No. Not going to.” “How about if I buy you a pony?” “You could buy me a flying unicorn with a rainbow tail. I’m not packing one more box.”
