Appallingly Obvious

"It has become appallingly obvious that our technology has exceeded out humanity."
Albert Einstein

How many parents are going to admit to texting your kids when you are all at home.

I know you do it.

Strength in numbers! Admit it!

How about searching your kid's Facebook page to assess interest in tattoos, facial piercings or moving to a state where cannabis is legal?

When that doesn't work anymore.  When they have fled to a newer form of social media clinging to the belief that anyone over the age of 30 is unworthy of a shred status.

When that time comes, I have a darker plan of invasion and monitoring and deception.

It involves the government!

Wrong branch.

Not that one either.

There you go.

Since the NSA is already accessing everything, we will form a "lobbying group."

We, as parents, will refuse pay for products related to boy bands and instead will donate funds to the super-secret NSA  and Presidential Fancy-Dress Ball

IF

a dossier on our wayward teens' actions, conversations,
affiliations and internet preferences were to clandestinely appear is discrete brown paper packages delivered at prearranged meeting places.

"I fear the day that technology will surpass
our human interaction. The world will have a generation of idiots."
Albert Einstein
