“Fly Me”

I’m thinking it is too bad the TSA Nudie Scanners weren’t in service back in the early 1970’s or the National Airlines “Fly Me” campaign could have had some fabulous cross advertising!
National painted the ladies’ names on planes and had attendants wear “Fly Me” buttons.
When the National Organization for Women tried to get a legal injunction against the ads, TIME magazine quoted the airline’s PR director: “The stewardesses become an extension of the airline. We had no preconceived idea of injecting a suggestive leer into the campaign.”‘
Why no offence intended and none taken. Wink, wink, nudge, nudge.
In this day and age do we have the option to fly Cameron all the way to Miami? Thought I’d ask.
