Franklin D Roosevelt

A general observation. It appears, that in the past, politicians were able to present themselves with at least the appearance of intelligence.
Be sincere; be brief; be seated. - FDR
I'm not the smartest fellow in the world, but I can sure pick smart colleagues.
I ask you to judge me by the enemies I have made. - FDR
“Courage is not the absence of fear, but rather the assessment that something else is more important than fear.”
You are only an extra in everyone else's play. - FDR
I do not look upon these United States as a finished product. We are still in the making.

I am neither bitter nor cynical but I do wish there was less immaturity in political thinking. - FDR
Repetition does not transform a lie into a truth.
