Lap Dogs

My dogs are under the delusion that they are little lap dogs and they both think the bed is there domain.  They aren’t allowed because 200 pounds of dog is detrimental to anything else being on the bed. Oscar has short legs compared with his bulk.  He plops both front paws on the bed and lurches as much of his body weight on the bed as he can.  Then he scrabbles with his back legs for a few minutes. His butt is just too big and he usually can’t make it on.  Odin has another plan.  He starts at the end of the room, gets a running start and leaps on the bed.  When either one of them make it on the bed, they sit back on their haunches and dig in. Getting them off takes an act of congress.  The joys of dog ownership.
