Saturday’s Voyeur 2011

My mom, my sister Julie and I went to Saturday’s Voyeur on opening night.

Saturday’s Voyeur is an annual farce on all things Utah . . . religion, politics, liquor laws, local silliness that spills over into national embarrassment . . . things like that.
The title is a parody of Saturday's Warrior, a 1970's Mormon musical. Google it.
Gayle Ruzicka, often appears in the annual comedy. She is an older Mormon mom of 12 children with a very conservative life view, an unlimited well of moral outrage, AND a very dedicated calling tree of Utah voters.
She wields an unhealthy cudgel of power and has wormed her way into politics, education, social construct and civil liberties. Her political organization is call the Utah Eagle Forum, and per an anonymous legislator , “She’s scary.”

I was wearing an American Eagle shirt to the play. During intermission (true story), a group of couples asked if I was wearing an Eagle Forum  shirt. I responded that it would be cooler than what I was wearing. After some small talk, one guy said, “Really, we were just looking at your boobs. We had to say something.”
Well at least someone is looking at them!
